‘Tis the Season to Serve

Each Christmas season, we spread some cheer through our many Outreach efforts. Don’t miss the opportunity to be a part of sharing God’s love throughout our community during this special time of year!

THE CHRISTMAS SHOP

DECEMBER 13 | DESOTO LOCATION

We have the awesome opportunity to serve 600 children at The Christmas Shop! The Christmas Shop is where parents can “shop” for their children for Christmas, free of charge, in a beautiful store-like setting. While they shop, we host an awesome Christmas party for the kids and even get pictures with Santa.

We serve families referred to us from Family Services, the Dunklin, Crystal City, Festus, Hillsboro and DeSoto School Districts, the Safe House, Jefferson-Franklin County Community Action, and Angel Tree Prison Ministry.

    We are collecting new, unwrapped gifts, tape and kid-friendly wrapping paper.

    No sign up is required and you can drop off items at any of our Weekend Gatherings on Nov. 22, 23, 29 + 30.

  • Fill The Truck

    Nov. 29 + 30 | Walmart - Festus

    On the weekend of Nov. 29 + 30 we get to greet customers at the Walmart in Festus and invite them to help us Fill the Truck with new toys for The Christmas Store.

    It’s a festive, joyful time as we share the opportunity to bless children in our community!

  • Festus Parade

    Dec. 1

    Walk in the Festus Christmas Parade as part of the Gracelife Chapel float with costumes, candy and carols!

  • DeSoto Parade

    Dec. 6 | 5-8p

    We will walk with our float in the parade and open our DeSoto location to provide restrooms, hot drinks + snacks. You can also help with set up starting at 4:15p.

  • Nursing Home Visitation

    Dec. 20 | 9a

    We’ll be delivering gifts, visiting with residents and bringing joy to nursing homes in Festus, DeSoto and South County.

YOUR GENEROSITY MATTERS

  • Prison Christmas Banquets

    We are providing a wonderful Christmas Banquet to 200 inmates of the Farmington and Potosi Correctional Centers. We will also be providing 90 special needs inmates with Christmas goodies and needed hygiene items.

  • Battered Women's Shelter

    We partner with a local battered women’s shelter to provide personal care baskets for mothers and we give them an opportunity to shop for presents for their children.
