ABOUT US
We Exist to Build a Church where people find Grace and Life in Jesus Christ
Gracelife Chapel is a Bible-based church where people of all ages and from many different backgrounds can grow in their relationship with God through Jesus Christ, learn about the Bible in a way that’s relevant to daily life and build healthy, thriving friendships and families.
Originally founded in November of 1983 by Pastors Randy and Mary Jo Starkey and Pastors Terry and Patty House, the church met in temporary locations until the JeffCo location was built in Pevely in July 1985.
In January 2019, Pastors Dan and Paige Lord were welcomed as the new Lead Pastors. Originally from St. Louis, they had served as youth pastors at South County Christian Center for 13 years prior to moving to Memphis in 2005. They served as Executive Pastors of The Life Church for 13 years.
Today we are building something new on an old and solid foundation. We are building on a legacy of faith and sacrifice. We are bringing the passion of our founders and faith pioneers into the next season as one church in two locations that is bringing grace and life through Jesus Christ to our communities.
We are so happy to have you along on the journey!

OUR VALUES | Who We Are + How We Behave
We are Jesus Centered and Bible Based
We follow the Bible as the blueprint to build the Church and our lives.
Everything we do is about knowing Jesus and making Him known.
We are Grace Giving and Honor Living
We generously give because we have freely received. We unashamedly honor
everyone and everything God has given us.
We are Joy Filled and Snob Free
We celebrate often, keep things simple, and always leave an open seat at the table.
We are Legacy Builders and World Changers
We refuse to give in to small thinking. We lead the way to build the Kingdom
of God beyond ourselves generationally and geographically.

We bring all of our passion and strength to form a united, strong and capable
team that is fulfilling the Great Commission.
We are Not Finished Yet
